He has also undergone a thorough check with the Criminal Records Board (CRB). In addition he is also a qualified Fishery Manager thereby ensuring that fish care is a priority.
He has over 45 years angling experience covering all aspects of coarse angling. He has many skills to offer both beginners and accomplished anglers who wish to tune, improve and underpin their own knowledge of the sport.
Trevor will adapt his lessons to suit the individual requirements and aims. He will offer structured lessons to enhance any skills or aptitudes the student may already have. Trevor has and will coach groups of all ages, aptitude, both women and men of any race or colour. The sport is there for all to enjoy and Trevor does not discriminate in any way.
Novices: can expect an introduction into the world of angling with lessons including:
Health & Safety, Environmental Awareness, Fish Anatomy and Handling and good Angling Practices. An overview of Conservation and Water Habitats.
Of course there are no guarantees when attempting to catch fish as there are many factors to be taken into consideration. If it was easy it would be called catching not fishing, however Trevor has the experience to ensure that you have the best opportunity to achieve your targets. Trevor has yet to have a student who hasn't managed to catch fish on their first outing.
Each student will be given a “Fishing Passport” to plot their own achievements with the award of a Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum Certificate on achievement. Students should achieve their Bronze Award after a couple of hours coaching.
